(PRWEB) June 11, 2010 -- Europ Assistance USA (EA USA), assisting corporate customers and employees when the unexpected happens, today announced that Glenn Maykish, long-time CIGNA executive, joins the company as vice president of sales and marketing.

Maykish now manages the sales, marketing and client management departments of EA USA and CSA Travel Protection (acquired by the EA Group in 2008), ensuring that the product development and distribution strategy is tailored to Europ Assistance’s U.S. markets.

With a 25-year background in domestic and international employee benefits distribution, Maykish brings valuable experience that will drive strategic and profitable revenue growth.

“Glenn is the perfect choice for helping us achieve our expansion goals,” said Guillaume Deybach, EA USA CEO. “He is positioning EA to expand its reach in the U.S. through continued support of our business-to-business model, investigating alternate distribution initiatives and leveraging the strength of Europ Assistance’s global footprint throughout the world.”

Prior to joining EA USA, Maykish was vice president of sales, marketing and client management at CIGNA International Expatriate Benefits, a division of CIGNA Corporation. There, Maykish was responsible for U.S. and Canadian market expansion over a seven-year period, resulting in significant growth for his business unit.
